The Government of Maldives has signed a loan agreement with STO worth MVR 46.3 million,that would compensatethe challenges faced by fisherman of the skipjack tuna industry and ppave the way for modern development of the fisheries industry of the Maldives.

THe MVR 46.3 million agreement was signed in a function held at the Finance ministry on Thursday by the Minister of Finance, Ahmed Munawar and STO Managing Director Mr.AhmedShaheer.
