Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq along with Minister of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, H.E. Thoriq Ibrahim met today with members of the ongoing Mission from Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) for the Greater Malé Environmental Improvement and Waste Management Project and Greater Malé Waste-to-Energy Project.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the progress of projects and sustainability of the solid waste management operations at K. Thilafushi.

The Ministers were accompanied for the meeting by senior officials from the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy.
