High Commissioner of Canada to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Eric Walsh, on Monday, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance.

During this meeting, discussions were held on on the Maldives' economic outlook, development challenges, and fiscal reforms.

Minister Dr. Shafeeq was accompanied for the meeting by the Chief Resource Mobilization Executive Dr. Mohamed Yammai and Chief Debt Management Executive Maryam Abdul Nasir.
