The Ambassador of France to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Jean-François Pactet, on Monday, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance.

During this meeting, discussions were held on strengthening economic co-operation between France and the Maldives and exploring opportunities for further engagement between the two countries.

Minister Dr. Shafeeq was accompanied for the meeting by Permanent Secretary Ahmed Siraj, Chief Resource Mobilization Executive Dr. Mohamed Yammai and Assistant Debt Management Executive Fathmath Suha.
