High Commissioner of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Adam Maznavee Jaufer Sadiq, on Wednesday, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance.

During this meeting, discussions were held on overcoming developmental challenges. Further discussions were focused on strengthening collaborations between Sri Lanka and the Maldives in the areas of economic and fiscal management.

Minister Dr. Shafeeq was accompanied for the meeting by the Minister of State for Finance Hussain Sham Adam, Deputy Minister of Finance Hassan Miras, Chief Resource Mobilization Executive Dr. Mohamed Yammai and Chief Debt Management Executive Maryam Abdul Nasir.
