A session was held today to educate the students of grades 11 and 12 of Alifushi School, R. Atoll, about the work of the Ministry of Finance. This session, organized by the Public Finance Institute was held at Ismail Fathhee Maalam of the Ministry of Finance.

During the session, students were briefed on how the Ministry functions and the mandates of the Ministry’s departments.

Additionally, students of Alifushi School met with Minister of Finance Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq. During this meeting, Minister Dr. Shafeeq imparted valuable advice to the students.

The aim of this session was to educate school students on how state finances are run and the importance of the Ministry of Finance. Sessions such as these help students learn about the functioning of government institutions and assist them in choosing their careers.
