On Tuesday, July 19th 2016, Minister of Finance and Treasury, Mr. Ahmed Munawar hosted a meeting with bankers in Maldives.

As an introductory meeting, Minister also introduced newly appointed Financial Controller, Ms. Fathmath Razeena. In addition, Minister discussed about raising the domestic banking sector to meet international standards, and importance of identifying and addressing the international pressure faced by the banking sector, so as to provide a stable and efficient banking systems to all customers, business and the general community.
