Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises Hassan Zareer today received a courtesy call from H.E. Shri G. Balasubramanian, the High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Maldives.

The meeting focused on the progress of projects being implemented under the Government of India’s Line of Credit (LoC) support and explored potential initiatives to further contribute to the Maldives’ economic development. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of the longstanding partnership between the Maldives and India and discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation through continued collaboration on key development priorities.
