The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has published the Press Release; the Staff Report; and the Statement by the Executive Director for the Maldives, in the context of the 2019 Article IV Consultation with the Maldives.

The Government of the Maldives welcomes the IMF Executive Board’s recognition of the improvement in the Maldivian economy, and the positive outlook for the medium term. The recommendations of the IMF will be taken into full consideration in the formulation of policy by the administration.
