The Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises, Hassan Zareer, and Chairperson of the MIRA Board, Ahmed Saaid Musthafa, officially commenced the Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded e-invoicing mission with RegTech yesterday.

The initiative is a key project under MIRA’s digital transformation roadmap, which centers on integrating Regulatory Technology to automate tax compliance, curb tax evasion, and modernize services. The strategy shifts the authority's operations to highly accessible, tech-enabled facilitation.
