The Maldives’ delegation currently visiting Riyadh, Saudi Arabia met with the President of the OPEC Fund, Dr. Abdulhamid Alkhalifa on Saturday. The delegation is led by the Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq, Minister of Finance and Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Minister of Islamic Affairs.

During the meeting, the successful series of collaboration with the OPEC Fund was highlighted and key potential areas for the Fund’s future engagement in the Maldives was deliberated.

Minister Dr. Shafeeq was accompanied by Mr. Hussain Sham Adam, Minister of State for Finance and Mr. Hassan Miras, Deputy Minister of Finance.
