A meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury with the Finance Executives of accountable government agencies on 6th January 2015. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Finance and Treasury Hon. Abdulla Jihad. 

The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen budget implementation and to request the agencies to prepare cash flow reports which is a requirement for the ministry to submit to the parliament as per the fiscal responsibility act. Among other issues discussed includes issues such as delays in responding to letters, issues of pending bills and travel permit were also discussed. The meeting was an interactive discussion and it was agreed to continue as such in the future.
