Minister of State for Finance, Mr. Ahmed Mazin delivered his remarks at the panel on addressing systemic issues during the 2024 ECOSOC Financing for Development (FfD) Forum.

In his remarks, State Minister Mazin spoke on the importance of concessional and climate financing for Small Island Developing State (SIDS) like the Maldives, and allowing more flexibility and enforcement of environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.

State Minister Mazin is currently on an official trip to New York, United States to represent Maldives in the 2024 ECOSOC Financing for Development (FfD) Forum.
