Minister of State for Finance, Mr. Ahmed Mazin delivered his remarks on the panel "making finance work for people and planet: how countries are building their sustainable finance ecosystem through INFFs".

In his remarks, State Minister Mazin shared the Maldives' experience on the progress and implementation of INFF financing strategy. He also emphasized the commitment to ending the climate emergency and urged foreign partners and development banks to ensure financing is available at a rate that addresses transitional justice at the heart of the climate crisis.

State Minister Mazin is currently on an official trip to New York, United States to represent Maldives in the 2024 ECOSOC Financing for Development (FfD) Forum.
