The Ministry of Finance has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to Work on Sustainable Financing Solutions. The MoU was signed during the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) held in Baku, Azerbaijan. 

Representing the Government of Maldives, the agreement was signed by Minister of Finance Mr. Moosa Zameer, and Ms. Melissa Garvey, Global Director of TNC, signed on behalf of the organization.
