Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB), in collaboration with Public Finance Institute (PFI) of the Ministry of Finance has commenced the induction training program for non-executive directors of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

The training will cover the corporate governance code of PCB, Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) and Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) as well as important laws, regulations and policies governing the SOEs. Additionally, the directors will also learn about their roles as members of the board and engage in interactive discussions about concerns surrounding the SOE sector, public perception and central government policy perspectives.

The training will be held from 15th to 24th January 2024 at Fathhee Maalam, Ministry of Finance. The training sessions will be facilitated by staff of PCB in collaboration with PFI.
