The British High Commissioner to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Caron Röhsler, on Monday, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance.

During this meeting, discussions were held on the Maldives' economic outlook, fiscal reforms, and potential areas for engagement.

Minister Dr. Shafeeq was accompanied for the meeting by the Advisor to the Minister Ahmed Munawar, Minister of State for Finance Hussain Sham Adam, Deputy Minister of Finance Hassan Miras, Chief Resource Mobilization Executive Dr. Mohamed Yammai and Assistant Resource Mobilization Executive Aishath Jumana Mohamed Rasheed.
