The High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Vice Admiral (Retd.) Muhammad Fayyaz Gilani, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq on Wednesday. The meeting was held today afternoon at the Ministry of Finance.

During this meeting, discussions were held on assistance from Pakistan and areas for development cooperation between the two countries.

The High Commissioner was accompanied by the Head of Mission, Zulqurnain Ahmad for the meeting. Minister Dr. Shafeeq was accompanied by the Minister of State for Finance Hussain Sham Adam, Deputy Minister of Finance Hassan Miras and Chief Resource Mobilization Executive Mohamed Yammai.
